VENTILATOR RECEIVES ROYAL ACADEMY OF ENGINEERING AWARD

The Royal Academy of Engineering has given the OVSI ventilator programme we worked on, a President's Special Award for Pandemic Service for exceptional engineering achievements in tackling COVID-19.

We took the initial concept from Cambridge University and, in just five weeks, turned it into a fully working prototype ready for production. Using readily available non-medical grade components, it can cost around 10% of a standard commercial ventilator making mass production more viable in developing countries.
