HUMMINGBIRD.
THE WORLD'S LIGHTEST FOLDING BIKE.

Ideas Need
Help To Grow
The idea for Hummingbird came about after its inventor came out of the cinema to find his bike stolen. He was disappointed that he couldn’t find a bike small and light enough to take inside to avoid the problem. As part of his final year project, he decided to develop a lightweight folding bike.

To develop his vision into a designed and fully tested product that could be produced for market, he was introduced to Prodrive Ventures, who helped him take his university project from prototype through to an internationally acclaimed micromobility solution.

Crafted
In-House
Hummingbird is produced in the United Kingdom, sacrificing nothing to quality and the beauty of the design. As Hummingbird’s technical partner, Prodrive has helped combine all the key attributes of style, with the innovation and technical excellence that Prodrive stands for.

Our engineers hand build and spray each lightweight Hummingbird carbon frame produced in our composites facility in Milton Keynes – the very same team of experts who manufacture products for clients including Aston Martin, Lotus, Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, and the Defence Ministry.

Assembled
By Experts
Final assembly is done at Prodrive’s Headquarters in Banbury, alongside the World Championship winning race and rally cars it builds for its clients in the FIA World Rally Raid and FIA World Endurance Championships.

Each bike is assembled according to individual customer specifications, be it a single-speed, multi-speed or electric model.
