JOHN GAW
CEO
John has run Prodrive Motorsport for the last ten years and oversees the entire operation. An experienced racing driver himself he understands the commercial needs of our customers and works with them to develop a long term business strategy that delivers results on and off the track.
DAVID LAPWORTH
R&D DIRECTOR
David Lapworth is one of the world's most respected rally engineers. In more than three decades at Prodrive he has engineered world championship-winning cars for Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Petter Solberg. He works closely with the engineering teams bringing invaluable experience and sits on a number of regulatory committees.
PAUL DOE
VEHICLE DIRECTOR
Paul Doe was responsible for the design of the Prodrive Hunter Dakar T1 car, the most technologically advanced rallycross car ever created, the Megane RX and prior to that the MINI WRC.
MATT FRENCH
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Matt has worked across the Prodrive Group for almost 30 years on everything from the WRC programmes for Subaru and MINI, to special Advanced Technology projects with McLaren and Jaguar Land Rover. Having worked with works and customer teams, he now ensures that all aspects of our Motorsport production and manufacturing operations run like clockwork.
RICHARD THOMPSON
GENERAL MANAGER, PRODRIVE LEGENDS
Richard is a hugely experienced motorsport engineer who has worked with across many of Prodrive's programmes, including running teams in FIA WRX and W2RC, as well as overseeing record breaking projects with our Subaru WR STI. Now heading our Prodrive Legends operation leading a team in the restoration of Prodrive built cars and other special operations.
HUW TASKER
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
For the last 8 years, Huw has worked directly on Aston Marin Racing programmes, whilst also supporting all our other Motorsport programmes on commercial aspects. Huw manages key manufacturer relationships to ensure that partners' commercial objectives are understood, met and exceeded to deliver high-performing race and rally results both on and away from the track or stage.
RICHARD TAYLOR
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Responsible for shaping the contracts with all of our OEM partners, teams, drivers, sponsors and customers. Having worked in a practical or commercial aspect on almost every Prodrive motorsport programme since 1987, including BMW, Subaru, MINI, Aston Martin Racing, WRX, Bahrain Raid Xtreme and Dacia, Richard has previously held positions as Sales Director and Managing Director for the Subaru World Rally Team.
OLIVER WOOD
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Having been with Prodrive almost a decade, Olly has been involved on the commercial side of various programmes. Currently leading the sales programme for the Prodrive Hunter he has been with the BRX project since its inception and now looks after all customer requirements including the customer Arrive & Drive events.
GUS BETELI
HEAD OF PERFORMANCE
Gus is responsible for the engineering teams. He oversees the BRX programmes Dakar/ W2RC and understands the technical needs of our customers and the requirement to develop high performance and reliable rally cars that deliver results. Having risen through the ranks at Prodrive from a support engineer, and worked with Aston Martin Racing and Team X44 in Extreme-E, on event Gus assumes the role of Team Principal.
PAUL 'DREZ' DIGGINS
RACE TEAM MANAGER
Better known as ‘Drez’ to those in the motorsport community, Paul has been with Prodrive for 23 years. Even before Prodrive he worked with multiple F1 teams and then come through the Prodrive ranks from Chief Mechanic, Head of Manufacturing and now he now deploys extensive experience as our Race Team Manager for GT Racing Operations.
