Whether the creation of limited-edition cars, the build of complete modules ready for fitment on the production line or the production of complex vehicle systems, low volume production programmes are a key strength of Prodrive.

We engineer, manufacture and assemble onsite. Our extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities include a machine shop with the latest five-axis mills, one of the UK’s most comprehensive fabrication departments, wiring harness manufacture and a state-of-the-art clean room. But it is the skills of Prodrive’s highly skilled, highly adaptable technicians that bring them all together to create our tailor-made solutions for clients.

Be it through the provision of dedicated assembly lines, production areas within Prodrive or client’s premises, or managing third parties, we find the best way to meet your needs.

RANGE ROVER ULTIMATE EDITION

Land Rover wanted to produce their first Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate. As a new market segment, the volume was relatively low, and the complexity over the standard version meant it was not possible to produce it on Land Rover’s normal production lines.

FORD TRANSIT HYBRID PROTOTYPE

We helped Ford create the first Transit PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle). We were responsible for the integration of the hybrid powertrain systems into an existing Transit platform whilst maintaining the engine bay and load area capacity.

HYPERCAR ACTIVE AERO SYSTEMS

A hypercar manufacturer needed to develop their existing design into a fully working electro-hydraulic system but had extremely tight space constraints and deadlines.
