Canberra’s GIO Stadium will host the women's State of Origin in 2022 for the first time ever.
The game will take place on Friday, June 24 with kick-off set for 7:45 pm (AEST).
With a stadium capacity of 25,000, it is a significant step up from the previous capacities of North Sydney Oval (10,000) and Sunshine Coast Stadium (12,000).

There are still tickets available for this year's women's State of Origin.
Prices start from $20 (adult) and $40 (family), along with options for Blatchys Blues and limited seating in the QLD Maroon supporter section.
How to watch women's State of Origin 2022 in Australia
Those not in attendance will be able to watch the game from home, with Channel Nine set to cover all the action.
Coverage will begin from 7:30 pm (AEST) before kick-off 15 minutes later.
