Meet some of the key people at Prodrive who are all leaders in their specialist fields bringing decades of experience and knowledge to every programme we run.
John has run Prodrive Motorsport for the last seven years and oversees the entire operation. An experienced racing driver himself he understands the commercial needs of our customers and works with them to develop a long term business strategy that delivers results on and off the track.
David Lapworth is one of the world's most respected rally engineers. In three decades at Prodrive he has engineered world championship-winning cars for Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Petter Solberg. He works closely with the engineering teams bringing invaluable experience and sits on a number of regulatory committees.
Paul Doe was responsible for the design of what is the most technologically advanced rallycross car ever created, the Megane R.S. RX. He was also head of design on the MINI WRC and has worked on a number of championship winning race and rally cars.
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Paul Howarth is one of the most experienced team managers in world motorsport having run the Subaru World Rally Team, MINI WRC Team and now both the Aston Martin Racing team and GCK Team. He ensures that all aspects of the teams on and off event operation, run like clockwork from the logistics to race strategy and pit stops.
HEAD OF POWERTRAINS
Arthur leads the development of all the engines for our race and rally cars. Most recently he has created the new V8 turbo for the Aston Martin Vantage GTE and the fully bespoke engine for the Megane R.S. RX.
Richard is a hugely experienced rally engineer who has worked with some of the leading drivers in world rallying. He has led the development of the VW Golf SCRC, oversees the record breaking projects with the Subaru WR STI; as well as running the GCK Team in the FIA WRX
