PRODRIVE / MOTORSPORT / WORLD MOTORSPORT SERIES / FORMULA E
FIA FORMULA E CHAMPIONSHIP
The FIA Formula E Championship is the first global series solely for electric cars. The first championship was held in 2014 and races are all held on street circuits, not traditional racing circuits, in some of the greatest cities in the world including Paris, New York, Beijing, Berlin, Miami and Buenos Aires. It is a single seat racing formula supported by some of the world's leading vehicle manufacturers and uniquely allows fan interaction to literally help boost the performance of the cars.

CARS
All the teams run identical single seat chassis and battery packs, so the shape of the cars is the same. However, under the skin teams can develop their own electric motor, inverter, gearbox and cooling system to give them the competitive edge.
The pure electric motors produce more than 190 kW (250 bhp) allowing the cars to accelerate to 60 mph in under three seconds and up to a maximum speed of 140 mph. Under braking the batteries are regenerated
