MANUFACTURING

We have one of the most comprehensive motorsport manufacturing facilities in the world, enabling us to create entire cars from within our own facility.

FABRICATION

We have a skilled team of fabricators that manufacture the vehicle chassis and safety cages and other unique parts such as suspension arms, oil and water tanks and radiators.  They are skilled craftsman who combine traditional fabrication techniques with the latest welding and forming processes.  Our team's unique skills are often called upon by a number of Formula One teams

MACHINING

We have an extensive machine shop equipped with the latest five axis mills and lathes.  This allows us to create the unique components for competition cars out of solid steel, aluminium and titanium.  Having this facility in-house reduces turnaround times and enables us to closely control quality and costs

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

We design and make all our own electrical systems in house at Banbury.  We manufacture our wiring harnesses to the latest aerospace standards, ensuring reliability and integrity in the harshest environments.  We designed and manufactured all the wiring systems for the Land Rover BAR America's Cup yacht, which remained fully functional while submersed in salt water.

COMPOSITES

We have the largest composite operation in the UK outside the aerospace sector employing nearly 200 people at our dedicated facility.  We design and manufacture our own lightweight composite components for our race and rally cars, enabling us to closely control cost, quality and delivery.

VEHICLE SYSTEMS

Every sub-assembly and system, such as the gearbox, steering rack, brakes, differentials and pedal box is built by hand by our team of technicians.  We work with specialist suppliers of key systems such as brakes and transmissions to help create the bespoke systems for our cars.

POWERTRAIN

Having designed the powertrain, we have a dedicated team of engine builders who individually assemble each unit by hand over several weeks so they have full responsibility and pride in what they produce.  We are also investing in the very latest transient powertrain dyno facility at our headquarters both to test every engine once it is built and for on going powertrain development both for internal combustion and electric motors.

CAR BUILD

Every race and rally car is hand-built by our team of skilled technicians in our workshop.  The process can take up to four weeks, before the finished car is ready to shakedown before testing or racing.  The technicians who build the cars are the very same technicians who operate the cars on event so they have an intimate knowledge of the vehicle.
