CREATING A GLOBAL ICON
The 18 year partnership between Subaru and Prodrive, which saw the Japanese manufacturer win six World Rally titles, is described as one of the best examples of how motorsport has redefined a brand, created an icon and increased sales and profitability.
Subaru wanted to promote their latest performance road car and approached Prodrive to develop an extreme race version to set a new lap record of the Isle of Man TT circuit, then the Nurburgring and most recently the Transfargasen highway. These events developed unique content for its global marketing programmes.

CHANGING THE RULES IN RX
Former world free-ride ski champion turned rally and stunt driver, Guerlain Chicherit, wanted to create a new team for the FIA World Rallycross Championship that would 'Change the Rules' and challenge the dominant factory teams. He partnered with Prodrive to develop and run an all new Renault Megane RX.
