HRH THE DUKE OF KENT VISITS PRODRIVE
The Duke of Kent visited Prodrive's Banbury headquarters today and spent 80 minutes finding out about our race and rally activities and projects for our Advanced Technology customers.
It was the first time the Duke of Kent, who is president of the BRDC (British Racing Drivers Club), has visited Prodrive. As he was shown around the Aston Martin Racing cars he showed his knowledge of the differing GT racing categories. He also mentioned that he had been to the Isle of Man TT, when he was shown around the special one-off Subaru WRX STI TT Attack car. The car will attempt to set a new record for the TT course this June.
At the end of the day, the Duke was presented with a special shooting stick which had been made out of carbon composite and machined aluminium. It was only the fourth such stick made by the company.
