The package requirements within the engine bay, forced by the no-go areas of the load bay and cabin, were incredibly tough. Only by creating physical parts and trial fitting were we able to determine the clearances and clashes in the real-life environment. We started with CAD, the engineers and technicians poured over the design detail before manufacturing, fettling, honing and feeding back into the design environment to ensure the most pragmatic solution.

At Prodrive, the engineers and technicians are co-located, along with the tools and machinery required to quickly manufacture and try parts. This is why we're able to go from Concept to Protoype so quickly.
