Sordo & Prodrive MINI win in Corsica
Prodrive WRC Team driver, Dani Sordo won this weekend’s Corsica Rally, securing victory in the latest round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) in a Prodrive-prepared MINI John Cooper Works S2000. This was Sordo’s debut in the IRC, who more usually competes in the World Rally Championship, and was his first major international rally victory.

Sordo shows the pace of the improved mini
Dani Sordo claimed six fastest stage times in Portugal, including winning the final powerstage, to show just how competitive the new MINI John Cooper Works WRC is on gravel. Dani’s car featured more than 100 modifications, including a more powerful engine and new Ohlins gravel dampers, helping him to finish in first or second place or more than 50% of the stages he completed.
FPR Wins Clipsail 500 with 1-2 Result
Prodrive run Ford Performance Racing won its first Clipsal 500 in grand style with a 1-2 finish for Will Davison and Mark Winterbottom.
Prodrive boosts performance of MINI WRC
At Rally Portugal this month the Prodrive WRC Team will introduce more than 100 modifications to improve the performance of the MINI John Cooper Works WRC. The enhancements are being homologated under the FIA regulations and will be available to fit to all MINI WRCs.

MINI Claims Podium Finish on its Return to Monte Carlo
The MINI WRC Team concluded the fifth and final day of the Monte Carlo Rally by bringing Dani Sordo (ES) and Carlos del Barrio (ES) and Pierre Campana (FR) and Sabrina de Castelli (FR) to the finish on the principality’s harbourside second and seventh respectively. This was only the team’s seventh FIA World Rally Championship event, but it was the third podium for the Spanish crew.
