Our advanced composites capabilities have developed from the requirements of our own motorsport programmes. In addition to our own internal customers, our facility is now being used by other automotive and motorsport companies, as well as for the aerospace and marine industries.

Integrated service:
Prodrive offers a fully integrated advanced composites service including converting customer ideas into final design and production processes from pattern making through to assembly, CNC machining and testing of final products.

Customers can also take advantage of our project management capability which draws on our diverse motorsport and automotive technology heritage.

Rapid prototyping:
Short lead times with motorsport customers have forced us to establish internal processes to satisfy urgent demands.

Pre-Preg advanced composites:
Our expertise comes from production of lightweight, high strength race and rally car components which are used by our motorsport programmes and external motorsport customers.

Pre-Preg is the most advanced method of manufacturing composite components which is now being used in a variety of industries where weight and strength is critical.

Resin infusion:
Where budgets are limited and strength is not as critical resin infusion can be used to manufacture larger structures in one process typically for compete hulls and decks for marine applications.
